mediation
- Half-day (4 hours): $600 per party
- Full-day (8 hours): $1,200 per party
Mediation rates include all reasonable preparatory and follow-up time and all basic office expenses associated with the mediation. Ancillary work or unanticipated time in excess of half-day or full-day appointments will be billed at $400 per hour to be split equally among the parties.
Mediation fees are due prior to or on the day of the scheduled mediation.
In the event of a cancellation, the following portions of each party’s mediation fee will be forfeited (if already paid) or charged (if not yet paid) per the following:
- 100% of the fee if cancelled within 2 business days of the scheduled mediation date.
- 50% of the fee if cancelled within 5 business days of the scheduled mediation date.
- No cancellation fee if cancelled 6 or more business days prior to the scheduled mediation date.
ARBITRATION
A non-refundable deposit of $1,500 per party is required to register the case, which will be credited to the arbitration fees charged. Arbitration fees are billed at the rate of $400 per hour for preparatory work, the arbitration hearing, and any post-arbitration work. Fees are divided equally between the parties unless otherwise agreed to by the parties or otherwise awarded by the Arbitrator. Upon receipt of registration fees, a scheduling conference will be held to set discovery deadlines and the trial date.
